HIRING SALARY RANGE:

$90,000- $115,000
(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Amentum is seeking a talented and experienced Engineer II to support the Program Executive Office, Submarines (PEO Submarines), to provide analytical, research, and reporting services.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering (e.g. naval architecture, marine engineering, mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering.)
  • 5+ years of experience with Navy Acquisition and/or In-Service Logistics Programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH UNDERSEA SYSTEMS (TORPEDO DEFENSE SYSTEMS PREFERRED).

Responsibilities

The Engineer II will apply engineering disciplines to technically support development of new and existing Naval capabilities and systems, develop significant alterations to existing systems, integrate and interface existing equipment or software into different applications or platforms to support the warfighter, and support evaluation of foreign or non-developmental systems, equipment, and technologies.
