Description
EnerMech is seeking an Umbilical Engineer to support offshore and onshore subsea projects, with a focus on umbilical testing, commissioning, and subsea control systems. This role combines project engineering with hands-on field execution. You will support umbilical and well commissioning activities from engineering through execution, including testing, installation, commissioning, and client delivery. Job Description: Engineering and execution of umbilical hydraulic, electrical, and fiber optic testing Support umbilical commissioning, flushing, and fluid displacement. Perform subsea control system installation, integration, testing, and commissioning. Prepare and review procedures, drawings, calculations, and reports. Lead or support FAT/SIT activities. Mobilize/demobilize equipment and execute work onshore and offshore. Interface directly with clients and project teams. Ensure work is completed safely, to spec, and on schedule. Deliver clear post-job documentation and project close-out reports. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience. 5+ years of offshore or subsea industry experience. Strong experience with umbilicals and subsea control systems. Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems. Experience with SUTA, TUTA, pull-in heads, HPUs, EPUs, and distribution equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and test procedures. Comfortable working in field and offshore environments. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Prior experience with Umbilical's / Well commissioning.
