Responsibilities What You’ll Do Lead 2–3 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum. Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework. Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches. Monitor member progress and document outcomes. Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members. Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Active behavioral health licensure in Virginia including but not limited to: LPC, LCSW, CSAC, LSATP, LMFT and associate level status with ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states Minimum two years’ leading groups in a SUD setting. High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc. Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success. Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed. Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT.
Responsibilities
The Counselor will lead 2-3 structured, evidence-based group therapy sessions daily and facilitate discussions tailored to member needs within the clinical framework. Responsibilities also include collaborating with care teams, monitoring member progress, documenting outcomes, and supporting a recovery-oriented environment.
