Overview At Groups, the Counselor I is central to a cross-functional care team that includes providers, care navigators, peer recovery coaches and office managers that work together to service our members. This role will be an expert on addiction and recovery and will coordinate decisions about member’s treatment. This role reports to the Clinical Supervisor. Salary range: $50,000-$70,000/ year *Based on experience, and education Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 9am -7pm Responsibilities What You’ll Do Lead 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum. Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework. Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches. Monitor member progress and document outcomes. Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members. Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission. Qualifications What You’ll Bring Licensure: Must have an active, independent clinical license based upon state regulations ( LICDC, LIMFT, LISW, LPCC). Experience: 2+ years of experience leading groups in a substance use treatment setting. Tech-savvy: comfortable with EMRs, telehealth platforms, and Google Workspace.
