In this dynamic Float position, you'll play a key role in supporting participants through every stage of their recovery journey. The schedule for this position is full-time, Monday through Friday. The location is in Bellevue, WA, and the pay is $25.80 - $30.80 per hour. Requirements Conducts a self-assessment of skill levels related to Substance Use Disorder Professional practice and works closely with the Clinical Supervisor to strengthen identified areas. Completes training hours required for SUDP certification. Provides individual and group counseling services to individuals enrolled in programs at THS and/or its affiliates. Assures that their service documentation is counter-signed by a certified SUDP. Serves as leader or co-leader of therapy groups. Performs intake interviews/assessments as required. Provides ongoing evaluation of individuals through the collection and synthesis of bio-psychosocial information from participants, families, referral sources, peers, and others as appropriate. Develop and implement treatment plans and concurrent treatment plan reviews reflective of the participant's voice. Ensures prompt, accurate clinical documentation, including treatment plans, and progress notations in assigned participant files, preparation of treatment contracts, letters, referrals, and discharge summaries of terminated participants. Performs work according to established THS policies and procedures. Able to perform clinical work in an efficient and effective manner and work to achieve THS productivity and quality standards. Provides advocacy, ease management, information and referral services, and wrap-around services in an outpatient setting. Consult as needed with the medical director, psychiatrist, ARNP, or mental health clinician on ongoing eases, screening, and treatment planning. Assists in resolving the participant's issues, as they relate to staffing decisions. Follows through on staffing recommendations for participants. Develop a working knowledge of drug treatment facilities and treatment modalities in King County and throughout Washington State. Attends and participates in supervision with immediate supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: Current involvement as a student and/or trainee in the process of becoming a Substance Use Disorder Professional, with proof required at the time of hire. Current WA State DOH SUDPT with the completion of your fist 50 hours of training hours. Associate Degree in Social Services/Sciences or related field from an accredited college/university OR two years’ experience in counseling, case evaluation, staffing presentations, and record keeping. Must meet standards for qualifications as a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee per WAC and possess the SUDPT credential. Documentation of training and education necessary to meet and maintain qualified status is required, including the date of qualification as a SUDPT. Must have knowledge and experience in chemical dependency, family dynamics, and counseling. Able to Works effectively with diverse populations. Able to work effectively in teams and performs well under pressure. Be able to maintain a professional image within the community at all times. Drug-free for a minimum of three years immediately prior to employment and no misuse of alcohol or drugs while employed as a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Computer proficiency is required, including learning electronic medical records systems and effectively documenting client records.
