Our organization's values guide our behavior: * Integrity * Respect * Perseverance * Compassion * Inclusivity * Collaboration Substitute (Harvard Street Campus) Serving under the general supervision of the principal and academic leadership team, the substitute will report to the designated campus daily (Monday through Wednesday) to work EVE sessions in person and Thursday through Friday Virtually to ensure coverage for classes is consistent. Responsibilities: * Implement lesson plans provided by the instructor * Take attendance * Leave notes regarding student performance/participation from the day’s lesson as well as any challenges encountered while covering the class * Fulfill other duties as assigned when coverage is not needed * Adhere to safety protocols and procedures * Adhere to campus protocols and procedures as it relates to events such as assemblies, class breaks, session times, etc Qualifications: * Associate’s degree * Experience teaching * Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in English and preferably a second needed language in writing and speaking with all school stakeholders; * Ability to create a safe and compassionate learning environment through leading excellence in teaching and learning; * Effective mediation skills with sensitivity to cross-cultural issues to resolve conflicts; * Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities * Must be able to provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination * Deep commitment to CRIPCS's core values and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) and ability to model those values in relationships with colleagues and partners. * To ensure that you understand the school’s commitment to our work and the expectations of all school community members in advancing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging work.
