360 Talent Avenue is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Early Childhood Substitute Teacher for a well-established private Jewish school in Brooklyn, NY. Join a passionate team of professional faculty and staff dedicated to developing a Reggio-inspired school within a supportive and creative community. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young children and thrive in a collaborative, engaging environment. Must Speak Hebrew Pay Range: $50K - $60K per year, depending on experience and position. What you’ll do: Lead instructional and classroom management processes while maintaining high-level care and educational standards in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Follow and teach lesson plans provided by the Lead Teacher. Prepare in advance by studying course material when possible. Assist students in developing a thorough understanding of the subject matter. Utilize classroom and behavior management techniques to foster an effective and positive learning environment. Build relationships with students, staff, and the broader school community. Ensure all class responsibilities and project deadlines are met. Provide the Lead Teacher with a detailed report on lessons, activities, and class behavior. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or an Allegra Franco certificate in place of a Bachelor’s degree, accepted for certain substitute positions). Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience. Experience in early childhood education. Knowledge of the Hebrew language, Jewish holidays, and customs (required for some substitute positions).
