Description Description Lycée Français is looking for qualified French-speaking and English-speaking substitute teachers for all grades. Experience working with children in groups or one-on-one, depending on the needs of children and the subject matter. Flexible schedule, willingness to adapt to multiple scenarios, and self-motivated work ethic. Role and Responsibilities The duties of the substitute teacher may include, but are not limited to the following tasks: Lead Teacher Substitution Implementing the lesson plan provided by the school or classroom teacher Providing instruction to students on a variety of classroom subjects and topics Maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment that is conducive to learning Teaching Assistant Substitutes Assisting the classroom teacher in maintaining a safe and productive learning environment Working with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts that were presented in the lesson plan Lunch Duty Assistance Assisting with lunch/recess duty maintaining a safe environment Requirements Required Qualifications High School Diploma Experience in nstruction in an elementary, middle, or secondary school setting Flexibility and a team-spirit work ethic Well developed interpersonal skills Must be in New Orleans Preferred Qualifications Louisiana Certification. Responsibilities

The substitute teacher will be responsible for leading classes by implementing provided lesson plans, instructing students across various subjects, and maintaining a safe, positive learning environment. Duties may also include assisting the classroom teacher with reinforcement activities or supervising lunch and recess.
