We provide affordable, timely, skills-based education for learners seeking career entry as well as those looking to acquire relevant, in-demand competencies at any point in life.  SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS - MITT ADULT LEARNING CENTRES The Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology is hiring energetic and knowledgeable Substitute Teachers for Adult Learning Centres (ALCs) to teach adult learners in the following areas: * English 30S and 40S * History of Canada 30F * Pre Cal 40S, Applied 40S, Essentials 40S * Biology 40S, Chemistry 40S, Physics 40S * World of Religions 40S * Psychology 40S * Applied Business Technology 40S * Family Studies 40S * Global Issues 40S * Law 40S * Physical/Health Education 30F/40F The hours of work are as required, Monday to Friday, day and evening. Required Qualifications * Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate required. * Previous grade 11/12 teaching experience in the subject area is an asset.   Conditions of Employment: * Legally entitled to work in Canada. * Successful completion of a Criminal Record check, including vulnerable sector and Child Abuse Registry Check.
