JOB SUMMARY:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Positive demeanor and excellent communication skills
• Prior experience caring for young children
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to pass a screening clearance for criminal convictions and the Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (SCR)
• Willingness to complete mandatory trainings
• Ability to provide classroom coverage on short notice

HIGHLY VALUED:

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related fields
• Previous experience with Montessori education methods
• Previous classroom experience
• Experience with children from 3 months old through 6 years old
• Native Spanish speaking ability for students in our Spanish immersion program

As an On-Call Substitute Teacher, you will provide critical support by stepping into various classroom roles during both planned and unplanned teacher absences. This role demands flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to the unique needs of each class, ensuring continuity and stability in our educational environment.
