Title:  Substitute Teacher, Part-time Reports to:  Principal Location:  Incarnation Catholic School | Sarasota, FL   Overview:  Incarnation Catholic School, established in 1961, offers Pre-kindergarten (including VPK) through Grade 8 in a Christ-centered environment forming a community of families, students, and staff. With core subjects plus, art, music, technology, world language, and physical education, students interact with degreed and Florida certified teachers who are committed to the students in their classes.   Job Responsibilities * Plan and deliver educational instruction using the most efficient and effective methodology for the students assigned when the regular teacher is unavailable. * Provide corrective feedback to students and re-teach as necessary, to ensure students have mastered the objections. * Collaborate and clearly communicate with parents/guardians and other educators to assist the students. * Implement approved-course curriculum. * Implement modifications in a student's education plan as required. * Complete written reports and assigned administrative tasks related to these functions as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal. Qualifications * Bachelor’s Degree * Florida State Certification (or approved application for Certification) * Excellent oral and written communications skills. * Ability to work independently and in groups. * Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask * Knowledge of theory and practice of student learning styles * Ability to remain calm and pleasant under stressful circumstances * Ability to communicate cooperatively and effectively with staff, students and parents. * Strong computer skills.  
Responsibilities
The Substitute Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering educational instruction when the regular teacher is unavailable. They will provide feedback to students, collaborate with parents and educators, and implement the approved curriculum.
