Description St Joseph Catholic Academy is seeking substitutes for the 2025-2026 school year. The St Joseph Catholic Academy includes: Bishop LeBlond High School Cathedral of St Joseph St Francis Xavier St Gianna Early Childhood Center, and St James Job Duties: Follow lesson plans from the classroom teacher and continue the learning process for the class. Supervise and engage with the students. Be a role model of Christian love, faith, and virtue. This is a part-time position, not eligible for benefits. Requirements Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset. Note: All employees are required to consent to a background check, commit to our Code of Conduct policy, and complete online and in-person trainings prior to hire.

Responsibilities

Substitute teachers are required to follow the lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher to ensure the continuation of the learning process for the students. Duties also include supervising and engaging with the students while serving as a role model of Christian love, faith, and virtue.
