This is a great option for those looking for flexible scheduling and hours. Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Substitutes to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in the absence of regular staff. This role is essential in ensuring continuity of care and support for children’s development. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities, including play, arts and crafts, and educational games. - Maintain a safe and clean environment for children at all times. - Follow lesson plans and daily schedules as directed by regular staff. - Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a positive experience. - Assist with meal and snack times, ensuring proper nutrition and hygiene practices. - Observe and report any behavioral or developmental concerns to the appropriate staff members. Skills and Qualifications: - Previous experience in childcare or a related field is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children. - Basic knowledge of child development principles. - First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
