The Growth Marketing Intern position is a part of our Roblox 12-week summer internship program located in San Mateo, CA. As a Growth Marketing Intern, you will work alongside the Growth Marketing and Design teams to evolve our Creative Testing Roadmap by aligning creative concepts with our on-platform Genre Taxonomy and player motivations. You Will: Use established Gamer Motivation Models to categorize creative concepts, ensuring our ads speak directly to why players love specific genres. Refine the Creative Testing Roadmap to bridge the gap between audience targeting and visual storytelling. Explore and implement AI-assisted tools to support rapid creative ideation and testing at scale. Collaborate closely with Growth Marketing and Design to ensure strategic insights are translated into high-performing creative assets. Deliver a clear, practical framework that guides how Roblox moves from a marketing insight to a live performance test more efficiently. You Have: Current enrollment in an MBA program. Undergrad degree for Marketing, Psychology, Business, or a related field. Ability to map complex data (like Genre Taxonomies) to human behaviors and motivations. Interest in emerging tools and AI-assisted workflows to streamline creative production. Experience acting as a "translator" between analytical marketing data and artistic design direction. Deep understanding of the Roblox ecosystem and the diverse types of experiences created by our community. For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits shown on this page are applicable to internship opportunities. Hourly Pay Range $40—$40 USD Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
