We are currently looking for an Assistant Food Technologist Intern at our Princeton, NJ office. The 2026 dsm-firmenich Summer Internship Program will run from June 1, 2026 to August 14, 2026. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Join our Savory Taste, Texture & Health team as an intern and gain invaluable professional experience. Your key responsibilities Assist Food Technologists in creating a wide range of finished food applications Support execution of experiments to evaluate flavor performance Participate in the tasting and evaluation of flavors in application Write reports to capture individual experiments Help with preparation of samples for our customers We bring Build Your Future Skills: Gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills that prepare you for a successful career. You Bring Currently working on completion of a Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Culinary program Lab and/or culinary experience working safely with food products, ingredients, and related equipment Working knowledge of computer programs, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, etc. Flexible working style: collaborative in a group setting, and independent to organize projects, timelines, and personal accountability Excellent verbal and written communication skills The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour. Compensation will be dependent on factors that include location, education, training, specific skills, and years of experience. At the end of this internship, you will have gained valuable new technical knowledge and practical skills. You will have expanded your network and industry insights.
