We are currently looking for a Maintenance Reliability summer intern at our Schenectady, NY office. The 2026 dsm-firmenich Summer Internship Program will run from June 1, 2026 to August 14, 2026. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Join our Maintenance team as an intern and gain invaluable professional experience. Enhance your skills and contribute to real projects that have visibility across the business through a Summer internship. Come discover all we have to offer! Your key responsibilities Work with Maintenance Technicians and other interns to complete assignments. Collect information from work orders to analyse data of the equipment. Create lockout tag out, try out procedure as part of the maintenance safe work. Work with Maintenance to install QR codes on all equipment. Involvement with lean or 5S events on site. Create Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for Maintenance department. You Bring Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field. Candidates must be available to work full-time beginning on June 1, 2025 - August 14, 2025 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong computer skills specifically in Microsoft office Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow Agility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. Ability to work with a diverse group of people. Fluent in English The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour. Compensation will be dependent on factors that include location, education, training, specific skills, and years of experience.
