Candidates in an undergraduate or graduate program (preferably in a STEM or investment finance field) that will be returning to school after the internship are eligible to apply. Located in our Montreal office, the Fixed Income team is looking for an intern to join their team. Requirements: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a quantitative or finance‑related discipline (BCom, BA, BSc, MSc, etc.) Ability to work well in a team environment Excellent interpersonal, judgment & decision-making skills Ability to self-motivate and prioritize time-sensitive deadlines Demonstrated judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to learning Bilingual French & English Strong interest in fixed income markets and applying quantitative and analytical methods to investment decision‑making and portfolio management Experience using Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis, financial modeling, or statistical analysis is an asset Foundational understanding of fixed income concepts such as yield curves, duration, convexity, interest‑rate risk, and credit risk Ability to work with and manipulate large datasets; experience with SQL or database querying is an asset Exposure to fixed income portfolio analytics, including risk measurement, scenario analysis, or performance attribution is an asset Ability to critically review and synthesize insights from both academic and practitioner literature To apply, please include a resume and transcripts (full unofficial version) by January 25, 2026, at 11:59 pm EST. The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $68,250 and $78,000 which is determined based on year of study, IGM program, geographic location and candidate’s skills, knowledge and experience.
