Primary Duties / Responsibilities: * Learn about DFA and the different careers within the Food Industry * Assist with the development of new products, improvement of existing products, maintenance of cost-effective formulations, and timely resolution of technical service issues related to Fluid, Cultured, and Frozen Dairy Products * Complete Laboratory testing and Conduct Pilot Plant trials * Research, design, propose, and complete a summer project aligned with the candidate’s interests. Project work will include collaborating with suppliers, sales, and/or marketing to design a new product that aligns with potential business opportunities. Qualifications Educational Requirements:  Will have completed at least their sophomore year of an undergraduate program and at most have recently completed an undergraduate degree.   Desired Degree Focus:  Food Science Also acceptable: Culinology, Biological Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology   An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans
