Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Summer Accounting Intern to support our accounting team with daily, weekly, and month-end accounting functions. This position provides hands-on experience in account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, payroll accounting, and general ledger maintenance. Responsibilities: Perform bank reconciliations for multiple entities and bank accounts. Assist with cash reconciliations and financial reporting activities. Prepare and upload journal entries into NetSuite. Support payroll, bonus, and benefits accounting processes. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules. Assist with monthly close procedures and accrual postings. Download and review financial statements and operational reports. Post deposits, intercompany transactions, and other accounting activities. Investigate and resolve account discrepancies. Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as assigned. Position Details: Full-time summer internship (40 hours per week). Monday through Friday schedule. Opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience in a fast-paced healthcare organization. Requirements Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Experience with NetSuite is a plus but not required.
