Family Futures Resource Network is a non-profit organization whose mission is to build on the strengths of individuals and families through connection, support, and education. We are looking for positive and energetic individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of children.
Summer Activities Programmers will be assigned to a variety of summer programming which will include summer camps with children 6 – 11 years of age, youth activities 13 – 17 years, as well as multi-sport camps. Orientation and training in a supportive team environment will be provided.
This position is ideal for students enrolled in child and youth care, early learning and childcare, human ecology, education, recreation, psychology, and social work.

  • A non-judgmental attitude toward children and their diverse behaviors
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • A positive, warm, and enthusiastic energy and presence
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to ensure the health and safety of all children

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma
  • Access to a reliable vehicle as travel between sites is required
  • Experience working with children
  • Outdoor program facilitation experience is an asset
  • First Aid Certificate is an asset
  • The ability to present a clear Police Information Security Check and Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Check
