POSITION

Rockefeller Capital Management is looking for a Summer Analyst to join our Business Risk, Controls and Supervision team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing, ultra-high-net-worth financial services firm that blends the sophistication of a Broker-Dealer and Investment Advisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client and trade data to identify risk trends and control gaps across our Broker-Dealer and Investment Advisor platforms.
  • Help build risk dashboards and metrics that support supervisory oversight and business decision-making.
  • Contribute to governance processes by preparing agendas, presentations, and project updates.
  • Collaborate with teams across the firm to strengthen our risk and control infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; bonus if you’ve worked with data visualization tools.
  • Curious, analytical, and detail-oriented with a passion for risk management and operational excellence.
  • A strong communicator who thrives in both independent and team settings.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
  • Passion for understanding and improving business risk and control frameworks

Compensation Range:
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $32.00/hour. Hourly rate for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
