Position:

POSITION

Rockefeller Capital Management’s Directs & Co-Investments Team is looking for a Summer Analyst to support their business unit this summer. The Summer Analyst will learn about the suite of products offered on our Rockefeller Global Family Office platform, which provides access to best-in-class alternative managers and strategies. More specifically, the Directs & Co-Investments Team oversees the origination, structuring, and monitoring of new and existing private company investments offered to the RGFO client base through proprietary special purpose vehicles or co-investment partnerships with third-party managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Directs & Co-Investments team in sourcing and vetting private company investment opportunities
  • Provide support on inbound inquiries and questions that require immediate attention
  • Work with senior investment professionals and client advisors on special projects (such as investment memos, performance review/analysis, automation projects that require programming skills)
  • Attend meetings and provide support with preparation of internal/external presentations
  • Research various industries/asset classes/opportunities that may represent potential opportunities
  • Participate in quantitative/qualitative analyses of investments on the platform

Qualifications:

  • High school degree required
  • Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or Computer Science is desirable
  • Demonstrated interest investing is paramount
  • Prior internship experience in the financial industry, including wealth management or asset management a plus

Skills:

  • Basic understanding of investments, portfolio reporting and related terminology
  • Highly analytical and proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel; ability to use Excel to organize, analyze, present and report on client information; Word, Access and PowerPoint a plus
  • A self-starter, who works well independently and as a part of a team
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset
  • Ability to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations arise
  • Detail-oriented and attentive to accuracy and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion with confidential matters
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to use Artificial Intelligence to streamline and automate

Compensation Range:
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $38/hour. Salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of this rate.
