Description Job description: Beginner's Edge Sports Training is searching for Camp Counselors for our Summer Break Sports Camps in Scottsdale Arizona. We run a multi-sport camp program where kids can exercise and gain exposure to a variety of sports and athletic activities. If you are an athlete, educator, just enjoy working with children this is a perfect fit for you. There is also a possibility for this position to convert to a permanent part-time position. Dates: June 15 - June 26 Ideal Candidates: Love working with children as much as they love all sports! BIG personalities Works well in a team setting Excellent communication skills Loud and energetic Well-rounded in sports Extremely reliable and punctual 1 year experience teaching or youth coaching experience (preferred) Looking for a part-time or seasonal position Requirements: Be able to commit to weekly schedules Be able to stand and walk for at least 1-hour increments Be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs. Job Responsibilities: Implement curriculum-based activities for multiple sports, including but not limited to: Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Track, Football, and Volleyball. Instruct sports-based activities Ensure activities are conducted in a safe and organized manner Maintain active supervision of groups up to 20 children Maintaining a clean and sanitary play area and facility Hours: Summer break camp runs June 15 to June 26th, Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30pm. Location: Vistancia area in Peoria Job Type: Part-time, Seasonal Pay: $16 per hour Job Type: Temporary Benefits: Employee discount Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
