Join our team as a Summer Camp Counselor and spend your summer leading adventures, building leadership skills, and making a lasting impact on kids ages 4–13. This isn’t a desk job — it’s kayaking, swimming, hiking, crafts, games, speed tubing, and nonstop energy in a beautiful outdoor setting. This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week May 25th – August 1st. Weekday shifts are scheduled 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM and 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with AfterCare coverage from 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Essential Job Duties Lead and participate in daily camp activities including water sports, outdoor adventures, sports, crafts, and team games Supervise campers to ensure a safe, inclusive, and fun environment Serve as a positive role model and mentor Build strong connections with campers and fellow counselors Communicate professionally with parents and leadership regarding camper progress or concerns Help maintain clean, organized facilities and equipment Support special events and themed camp days Requirements Education and Experience Must be at least 18 years old Experience of a minimum of 6 months working with kids (camp, babysitting, coaching, daycare, etc.) required CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be comfortable driving a passenger van Ability to pass a background check Energetic, responsible, and dependable Comfortable leading activities and speaking to groups Physical & Work Environment Swimming, hiking, running, and leading games Lifting to 50 lbs. occasionally Working outdoors in summer weather (sun, heat, humidity) On your feet and engaged throughout the day
