Job Details Position Type: Seasonal Saint Andrew’s School is seeking a talented Day Camp Sports Specialist who will lead sports and fitness activities with excitement and enthusiasm for the 2026 summer camp season! This role focuses on building teamwork, sportsmanship and creating an inclusive and positive camp environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, plan and lead age appropriate sports activities for campers aged 3 to 12 with various skill levels ensure safety and supervision of all campers during camp activities while enforcing camp rules and safety guidelines teach sport specific fundamentals, rules and strategy set up, maintain, clean up and store sports equipment daily support rainy day programming as needed as well as assist with special events, field trips and all camp related activities Required to attend in-person training sessions or mandatory meetings on: 5/27 from 5:30pm to 9:30pm (All Staff Orientation) 5/28 from 5:30pm to 9pm (All Staff Training) 5/29 from 3pm to 7:45pm (All Staff Meeting and Parent Orientation - Session 1 and Full Summer Campers) Qualifications Qualifications must be 21 years old or older minimum of 1 year instruction or related experience working with children in youth sports, PE, or camp must be available all nine weeks of camp (June 1 to July 31, 2026) possess leadership skills and responsible decision making willingness to lead and/or assist in additional programming or duties as assigned act as a positive role model to campers and counselors while representing Saint Andrew's School First Aid, CPR and AED certified - training will be provided by Saint Andrew’s School prior to camp Physical Demands: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, and for the majority of the work day. May be required to lift up to 35 pounds.
