Program Overview 11-week program that offers students the opportunity to explore the digital experience side of our Global Wealth and Asset Management (GWAM) business Students will have the chance to focus on one/or multiple of our GWAM lines of business within the (retail, retirement, and institutional) This role is a unique opportunity to learn about not just digital experience, but the industry, and how all areas of the business partner together to drive growth Position Responsibilities: Define, design, and test digital experiences for Manulife Wealth & Asset Management’s diverse audiences Collaborate with Senior Designers and Design Leads to conduct usability audits, create prototypes and wireframes, and perform user testing Assist in developing a new customer experiences including a multi-channel experience for Manulife Wealth clients (desktop and mobile app), North American Retail secure and public websites, Global Institutional digital experiences Design new digital experiences or improve existing ones with input from designers, product owners, and the technology team Create wireframes and design documentation in Figma Facilitate workshops and user testing sessions Learn the end-to-end digital design process, including user needs validation, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visuals Develop skills in research, analysis, communication, and managing multiple work streams What you’ll bring to the team Entering junior or senior year in an undergraduate bachelors’ program in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field Interest in both digital experience and financial services Demonstrated relationship management skills, with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive team dynamic Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously Proven ability to solve problems creatively and effectively, demonstrating innovative thinking and resourcefulness Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with team members Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment Mandatory participation in program for the full 11 weeks Application Instructions: Please submit a resume About Manulife and John Hancock Manulife Financial Corporation is a leading international financial services group that helps people make their decisions easier and lives better.
