Department Description DNA-encoded technology (ET) is used to identify novel therapeutic compounds. This innovative approach enables the discovery of new drug candidates by leveraging the power of DNA sequencing and data analysis. Students will work as part of the ET Data Science/Engineering team located in Cambridge, MA, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and contributing to significant advancements in the field. You will join our team to develop solutions for collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing huge sets of small molecule-protein interaction data. Minimum Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Computational Science, or related disciplines. Experience with Linux and Python programming. Experience writing SQL queries and working with GitHub. While GSK embraces a flexible work environment, we do require candidates who are hired to be onsite 3 full days a week. Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the 6-month co-op (June ~ December 2026). Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.
