This is a summer opportunity is for career-driven students interested in pursuing a career in welding/steel fabrication. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIRED: Must be a high school or college student, at least 16 years of age Enrollment in a welding and/or metal fabrication program required High school students under 18 must present proof of CTC/CTE program enrollment to be granted an interview The ability to learn and use tools, prints and measuring instruments necessary Team-player attitude and strong attention-to-detail.
Responsibilities
The role involves assisting in the fabrication of structural steel for complex bridge and transportation projects. The co-op student will learn to use tools, prints, and measuring instruments in a professional fabrication environment.
