Job Title: Summer Community Maintenance Assistant (Part-time) Reports To: Area Manager Location: McCartney Residences at Lafayette College, Easton, PA Compensation: $16.00 per hour for 20 hours/week for 10-weeks in the summer (May 26-Aug 21). FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Company Information: Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM), with headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama, is a group of student housing professionals focused exclusively on the management of housing communities owned by non-profits and/or highly affiliated with a university. Summary: The Community Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Staff Members in completing tasks that ensure the community meets safety, appearance, and operational standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community, including the grounds, amenities, and interior and exterior of the building. * Complete the "turn" process (including painting and floor cleaning) in empty suites for move-in by new residents. * Assist with accessing and removing tools, supplies, equipment, and other materials from the maintenance areas. * Follow operating and safety policies and procedures, and comply with federal, state, and local laws and ordinances. * Complete paperwork and other documentation associated with work orders. * Attend all staff meetings and training programs and participate in on-going training with the McCartney Residences staff on an as needed. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
