By the end of the summer, your CV could include: English as a Foreign Language Teacher – ALPADIA Language Schools As a full-time seasonal staff member, I taught English to students aged 13–17 from all over the world, adapted lessons to different levels, encouraged cultural exchange, and contributed to a unique immersive experience. Your Role As an EFL Teacher, you will teach English as a foreign language to non-native speakers aged 13–17, Monday to Friday, across 4 to 5 periods per day (typically between 8:30 and 11:45 or 12:30). Your Responsibilities Teach exclusively in English to promote full linguistic and cultural immersion. Prepare and deliver dynamic, communicative lessons, following the provided syllabus and using ready-to-use resources. Adapt your teaching to manage mixed-level groups (differentiation). Guide and support students in completing their weekly projects, encouraging them to take an active role in their learning. Create an inclusive and stimulating environment that fosters participation and self-confidence. Ensure students’ well-being and safety during lessons. Enforce camp rules and monitor attendance. Report daily to the Center Manager regarding any issues, level changes, late arrivals, etc. Participate in pedagogical meetings to ensure consistency and quality across the teaching team. Write a personalized comment for each student to include on their end-of-stay certificate. Qualifications Your Profile Previous experience teaching classes, delivering private lessons, or tutoring teenagers. Successful experience working with adolescents (13–17 years old). CELTA, TEFL, TESOL certification or equivalent qualification (a strong asset). English language proficiency at C2 level (native or near-native). Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills. Comfortable using projected lessons via a video projector (mandatory). Owns a personal computer with HDMI connectivity (mandatory). Contract Dates: From June 29, 2026 to August 7, 2026. Shorter contract periods are also available. Additional Information: Internal training: An online module and an online information meeting (mandatory) will take place in June. A center visit and a pedagogical meeting will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. First aid training: An in-person session will be organized before the start of the camp and offered to all selected candidates (recommended but optional). Accommodation: Not provided by ALPADIA.
