CLASSIFICATION:              Intern DEPARTMENT:                    Center for Inclusive Excellence FLSA STATUS:                      Non-Exempt SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Assistant Dean for Inclusive Excellence SUPERVISION EXERCISED:  Student Employees POSITION SUMMARY: Moravian University, the nation’s sixth oldest college institution and a master’s comprehensive university, seeks a Summer Graduate Coordinator for Center for Inclusive Excellence. This is a live-on summer internship opportunity that begins on May 26, 2026, and will end on Friday, July 31, 2026, with a weekend departure date.  The Graduate Coordinator will be a part of the Center of Inclusive Excellence and assist with the facilitation and planning of the office's diversity initiatives. This role will provide learning opportunities for the Graduate Coordinator around diversity, equity, and inclusion in pre-college programs, advising, and inclusive excellence programming. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Inclusive Excellence, the Graduate Coordinator will help with the planning and execution of the Advance into Moravian Summer Bridge Program, the Reed Raymond College Readiness Program of the Lehigh Valley, Getting Started at Moravian, and the Ubuntu Pre-Orientation Program. The Graduate Coordinator will relate to Housing and Residence Life as a live-on staff member assisting with low-level crisis response for the CIE on-campus groups.  The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion work. We are looking for a graduate coordinator who is interested in creating, facilitating, and organizing meaningful experiences for our students in our summer programs.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Managing evening and overnight supervision of student staff and pre-college students * Facilitate programs and community building activities daily for the Advance into Moravian Summer Bridge program * Assist in planning programs for students on the evening and weekends * Lead diversity trainings, programs, and overall development for participants of summer programs * Collaborate with the office to assist in the planning of programs happening in August and early Fall semester * Approximately 30 hours per week.  QUALIFICATIONS:  * A bachelor’s degree with a strong interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion programming.  * Either be currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited college/university, have completed a graduate degree within the last six months, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.  * Expressed sensitivity to and demonstrated understanding of the needs of a diverse student body. * Have no other obligations for the duration of the employment dates, including, but not limited to, employment, internship, or academic course (unless directly connected to this position or you have received prior approval from the Assistant Dean of Inclusive Excellence).  * Reside on campus for the duration of the internship. Responsibilities
