Description Are you interested in a temporary summer position working with some amazing kids and staff. We are currently looking for candidates interested in summer hours for Center based clients at our clinic in Southbridge MA. General Overview: Behavior Therapists is directly responsible for providing one-to-one instruction of skills and alternatives to interfering behavior based on the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Job Type: Part-time (only) Available Summer days/hours (June thru August): Monday thru Friday: 12 pm - 3 pm Monday thru Thursday: 1 pm - 5 pm Compensations & Benefits: Compensation is based on the candidate's practical experience, education and qualifications – ranging from $19 - $26 Free BCBA supervised field work on NB ABA cases Paid mileage- when transporting client Paid sick time Continued training in relevant skills Requirements The therapist must possess the following skills and abilities: Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Effective organizational skills including the ability to: multitask, prioritize tasks, and communicate well with other staff. Punctuality and accountability Must practice confidentiality and maintain a high standard of ethics; Work well with teams (staff, families, and clinical consultants). Maintain a positive attitude and show enthusiasm at work every day; Provide support in crisis situations, consistently implementing predetermined behavioral strategies. Timely and accurate notification and documentation of incidents and plans. Maintain accurate data and graphing on all designated programs. Receive feedback in a professional manner and work independently with initial direction. May work with other specialists and/or parents to implement additional specified goals and objectives. Qualifications: Must have a GED/High School Diploma or higher Must have a valid driver's license Must have a reliable vehicle available to them at all times Must successfully pass a CORI check Must successfully pass a DRIVING record check
