Description
Anticipated Start Date 6/15/26 Anticipated End Date 8/7/26 Anticipated Hours Per Week 30-40 Schedule: Schedule and days are negotiable! Target schedule is M-F 9:00 - 4:00 Salary/Wage Range: Hourly $20.00 to $25.00 Number Of Positions 1 Position Summary/Job Duties: Our family is looking for a summer help in Waunakee.  We have three independent, smart and easily bored boys (ages 12-16) that we want to stay active and out of the house over the summer break (especially the younger two).  We need someone who can reinforce the family rules, provide transportation and support outings and activities.  As a family, we enjoy hiking and have state park passes for any planned day trips.  We want to work with you to co-develop a budget to support activities to other places the boys will enjoy like water parks, movies, kayaking and so on. The eldest works, so may need additional help with his transportation needs. We have a pool, so strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety is a requirement.  You must also have reliable transportation to Waunakee; family vehicle is typically available to transport children to activities. Ideally, we'd also be looking for help with keeping the common areas tidy and assistance with the laundry and other errands.   More than anything, we are looking for someone that is reliable and can help us keep the summer break safe and active while the parents work from home or other locations. Ideal hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 - 4:00 and have flexibility on days and times. Pay is 20-25/hr depending on duties and experience, with option for end of summer bonus. Qualifications: * Basic knowledge of CPR and First Aid. * Strong swimming skills and water safety. * Basic reading, writing and organizational skills. * Ability to be active with the children (i.e., standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing stairs and swimming).  * Knowledge of operating home electronics and kitchen appliances.  * Safe driving skills and maintenance of a valid driver’s license.
