Location: Hawk Lake Lodge (30 min east of Kenora, right off Hwy 17)

Hawk Lake Lodge is a 5-star Fishing Resort that provides guest with an all-inclusive American plan. Guests come to Hawk Lake to enjoy the world-record fishing and to our first class service.
We are seeking a chef’s assistant / 2nd chef to join our outstanding team, which includes a chef, 8 dock hand/fishing guides, and 5 waitress/ housekeepers. We can accommodate upwards of 25 guests per day, with the average guest staying 5-7 days per trip. - Assist with preparing guest and staff meals, assist with maintaining food inventory, accepting weekly food deliveries, and shopping as needed.
- Must be comfortable making made-to-order breakfast (with assistance) for upwards of 25 guests 6 mornings a week
- Must be familiar with working in the kitchen on tasks including salad preparations, preparing appetizers, cooking guests dinner (entree selection to be coordinated with the head chef) as well as preparing staff dinners.
Must have some experience with cooking breakfast - experienced and junior level are welcome to apply.
The role would require working 6 days a week for 6-8 hour shifts (split shifts of 5:30am-10am and 2pm-6pm, and other times would be straight day shifts). Most days start early so must be comfortable being a morning person.
Valid drivers’ license preferred but not required.
