The Commission directs the growth, operation and business activities of RIC and works tirelessly to ensure it continues to be an affordable option for local, regional, and out-of-state travelers.   Are you passionate about aviation and eager to contribute to projects and research that will help shape the future of our organization? This internship offers an exceptional opportunity to gain meaningful experience while supporting RIC's mission. As an intern you will engage in job shadowing, attend formal presentations, conduct research and writing, assist with administrative tasks, analyze data, and explore a wide range of fields—including Accounting/Finance, Facilities, Communications, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, and Operations. This internship is fully on-site and requires a flexible schedule to conduct passenger surveys.  Description of Responsibilities: The Summer Internship Program provides outstanding students with hands-on experience within an unique industry. Through advanced project assignments and professional development activities, interns build practical skills and deepen their knowledge of aviation/ airport industry.   This internship is designed as training and skill‑building opportunities for students and recent graduates in the early stages of their careers. We recognize that each applicant brings a distinct set of skills, knowledge, and experiences—including those not directly related to aviation—and we value the diverse perspectives they contribute. Required Education and Experience:  * Undergraduate or graduate student in business management, communication, engineering, marketing, administration, or a relevant field.
