We are currently seeking a Summer Intern to support operations in Fairfax, Va. This is a full-time CONUS position. Cambridge internship programs are a blend of learning and development opportunities, mentorship, networking, and professional growth. What You’ll Do As a Summer Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations that enable U.S. government missions and Cambridge corporate initiatives. You will: Assist with financial data entry, analysis, and reporting Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Help reconcile financial records and spreadsheets Assist with budget tracking and cost analysis for government contracts Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as needed What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications: Education & Experience: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field Technical Expertise: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications preferred Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies Preferred (Nice to Have): Interest in government contracting or public sector finance Prior internship, coursework, or experience in finance or accounting Work Environment Compliance with vaccination and medical requirements for TDY/OCONUS roles as per Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil. Office setting: Primarily an office-based role in Fairfax, VA Standard desk/computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc. May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
