What you will be doing: The Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) team provides essential technical support to Vertex’s Commercial Manufacturing & Supply Chain organization, with a focus on Cell and Gene Therapy products. As an Intern in the MSAT group, you will gain hands-on experience supporting process validation, technology transfer, and lifecycle management of Vertex’s advanced therapies. During your Summer Internship you will get the opportunity to learn about our industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. Interns can expect to be challenged by their work, connect with other students, and feel valued by the Vertex community. What you will need to succeed: Business, Marketing, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related field Interest in the pharmaceutical industry Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Familiarity with marketing principles and healthcare industry dynamics Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Interest in rare disease commercialisation and patient access strategies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data visualization tools is a plus You must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from 1st June to 7th August 2026 Program Details: Program Dates: 1st June to 7th August 2026 At Vertex, we believe that when you feel your best, you can perform at your best.
