JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Order Fulfillment and Materials Specialist is responsible for all aspects of daily order fulfillment and its communication to the regions. The Order fulfillment specialist is working with the region order management teams and the warehouse to provide availability information and to ensure that the orders are shipped on time. The Order fulfillment and materials specialist support also the make to stock items purchasing and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s student in the field of Logistics, or from suitable field of Engineering or Economics
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Computer proficiency (MS-Office, ERP system)
• EU work permit
• Ability to work remotely from the home office (GE provides computer and IT accessories)

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Oracle knowledge and experience (or other ERP system)
• Very active and accurate working style
• Problem solving skills

• ERP system transactions: reservations and pick-releases
• Order status communications to internal customers by global meeting practices, MyO system, and email
• Co-operation with external service provider, and materials planning team
• Planning and fulfillment team daily and weekly standard work
