Description Looking for a hands-on summer internship where you can work outside and build valuable skills? Join the Ryan Lawn and Tree team and get ready for a unique, physical, and highly rewarding experience. You'll gain practical knowledge and get trained by experts in a variety of fields. What You'll Do Our internship provides an opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, so you can learn a little bit of everything: Turf: Learn how to care for lawns through fertilization, weed and insect control, and disease management. Irrigation: Service and repair irrigation systems to keep landscapes healthy and green. Landscape/ Landscape Design: Help create stunning outdoor living spaces for our clients. Pruning & Tree Protection: Work with expert arborists and pruners to master tree and shrub care techniques. Client Communication: Engage directly with clients, providing excellent customer service and gaining real-world communication experience. Requirements This is a physical, hands-on role, so come ready to work! We're looking for students who are: Ambitious & Eager to Learn: You should be a self-starter who is passionate about learning and growing in a fast-paced environment. Academically Inclined: While we prefer students studying Horticulture, Forestry, Landscape Management, Agriculture, or Business, all majors are welcome to apply! Physically Ready: This role requires you to be outdoors and active. You should be able to lift 50 pounds and walk up to 3 miles a day. Licensed: A valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities
Interns will rotate through multiple departments, gaining hands-on experience in turf care, irrigation, landscape design, and tree protection. They will also engage with clients, providing customer service and communication experience.
