During your journey, you will gain experience and insight into the Julius Baer Foundation, which focuses on reducing wealth inequality. The Foundation supports impactful and innovative organisations around the world and convenes leading thinkers and actors on the topic. It works across the wealth divide by bringing together actors from different parts of the socio-economic spectrum to foster dialogue and collaboration. As an intern you will gain insight in both programme management as well as communication and engagement activities as well as general Foundation tasks. YOUR CHALLENGE What to work on: Support programme management activities, including coordination and administrative tasks related to partner projects and internal processes Contribute to communication, including preparing presentations, communication materials, supporting content creation and developing the knowledge hub on the Wealth Inequality Initiative website Support engagement activities of the Foundation, including assisting with internal initiatives Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand how philanthropy is integrated into client wealth planning and how the Foundation supports advisors in facilitating impactful giving What to learn: Gain insight into programme management, including how the Foundation collaborates with partners to address wealth inequality Develop practical experience in communications, including preparing presentations, supporting content creation, and contributing to a knowledge-sharing platform Learn how the Foundation engages internal stakeholders and how this engagement advances its mission Support initiatives around philanthropy at the intersection of the Foundation and the broader wealth management business YOUR PROFILE Bachelor student from 2nd year onwards or enrolled Master student in the field(s) of Development Studies, International Relations, International Management, Business Administration, Communications Initial practical experience in a and skills/knowledge in communications is a plus Demonstrated interest in philanthropy or social impact, for instance through volunteering, engagement with a social cause or previous experience in an NGO or nonprofit organisation Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning Fluency in English, with additional languages, especially Spanish, being a plus Registered in the country of application with a valid work permit Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
