Your team Join the Software Delivery Accelerator team (SDA) team in APAC and become part of the developer Experience team at Julius Baer, where you will gain hands-on experience building unified developer tooling and self-service capabilities that simplify how application teams build, manage, and deploy software. Partnering with polyglot development teams across multiple regions, you will work with modern developer platforms including NX, Mise/Nix, and Backstage, acquiring practical skills in standardising development workflows YOUR CHALLENGE What to work on Build and maintain standardized application build pipelines using NX, enabling consistent build experiences across diverse technology stacks including Java, Python, and Go Develop reusable development environment capabilities using Mise and Nix, helping application teams quickly onboard and adopt platform-provided tooling through code Contribute to the team's Backstage implementation, creating plugins and integrations that allow application teams to discover, deploy, and manage platform capabilities through a unified developer portal What to learn Hands-on experience with modern monorepo build tooling using NX and reproducible environment management using Mise/Nix across polyglot technology stacks Practical understanding of Internal Developer Platform (IDP) concepts, including how Backstage serves as a centralized portal for service discovery, deployment, and developer self-service Exposure to platform engineering practices within a large financial institution, including how standardized tooling and automation improve developer productivity and reduce friction across distributed teams YOUR PROFILE Bachelor student from 2nd year onwards or enrolled Master student in the field(s) of Computer Engineering Initial practical experience in any programming language and skills/knowledge in developer portal and application build tools is a plus Passion for wealth management and a desire to create value beyond wealth A global mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong appetite for learning Fluency in English, with additional languages being a plus Registered in the country of application with a valid work permit Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
