At Apple Montessori Schools, being a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor isn’t just a summer job — it’s a chance to inspire young minds, teach life-saving skills, and have a blast while doing it! Join our dynamic summer team and enjoy sunny days filled with laughter, learning, and purpose. Perks of working at AMS Summer Camp! Summer Camp Session: July 6th- August 28th, 2026 Monday – Friday only: Enjoy your evenings and weekends off! Full-time position: 35–40 hours per week - consistent daytime hours with a great work-life balance Rain or Shine – We’re a Team! At Apple Montessori, we believe in flexibility and teamwork. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, our Lifeguard/Swim Instructors support our classrooms for the day, helping create a positive learning environment indoors. Your role may shift, but your impact stays strong — rain or shine! 50% support toward your Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (including CPR & First Aid!) *Must work 35 out of 40 camp days to qualify What You’ll Do: Keep a watchful eye and maintain constant surveillance of the pool Lead developmentally appropriate swimming lessons for children Be ready for rescues and perform CPR/First Aid when necessary Ensure pool safety and hygiene, including chemical checks Jump in to support classrooms on rainy days – we’re a team, rain or shine! Requirements Minimum age of 18 High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. CPR & First Aid Certification – or willingness to obtain as part of your Lifeguard Certification process. Red Cross Lifeguard Certification – or a commitment to complete certification prior to your first official day.
