Description
Program Lead Responsibilities Support daily administrative operations and ensure proper setup and cleanup of program materials, administrative spaces, and classrooms. Lead the daily morning duʿa during program assembly. Provide coaching, guidance, and oversight to teachers, including regular check-ins to support classroom effectiveness. Conduct periodic checkpoint assessments to evaluate student learning and progress. Communicate with parents regarding student updates, concerns, and support needs through in-person conversations and official communication channels (email and Telegram). Monitor the progress of all students in the program and flag any concerns to the Maktab Coordinator. Support overall program flow and assist with troubleshooting day-to-day operational challenges. Teaching Responsibilities Teach Qur’an recitation, pronunciation (tajwid basics), and short surah memorization using the instructional methods introduced during training. Assign homework and review student homework during each class session. Track student progress through consistent follow-up and individualized support where needed. Complete student progress reports as required by the program. Teach assigned vocabulary and foundational Islamic learning components as part of the curriculum. Attend mandatory orientation, scheduled team meetings, occasional training sessions, and performance reviews. Adhere to the teacher handbook and all child safety and supervision protocols. Arrive prepared for each class session and at least 10 minutes before the start of class. Team Coordination Meet regularly with the Maktab Coordinator to provide updates on program progress and any student concerns. Attend team meetings in person when possible, or join virtually. If unable to attend, review meeting recordings to stay aligned with program updates. Schedule Monday – Thursday | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM June 16 - August 6
