Overview NARRAGANSETT, RI (SUMMER 2026): A warm, easygoing, and welcoming couple is seeking a FULL-TIME, LIVE-IN NANNY to join them in their stunning five-bedroom beachfront home from June through September. This is a truly special opportunity for a nanny who thrives in a dynamic, coastal environment and enjoys being part of a lively, high-energy household, as the home is often filled with guests, supported by additional staff, and set against the backdrop of the ocean just steps away. This is very much a constant family environment, and the family describes themselves as a big, loving, loud Italian family, so a candidate who is adaptable, personable, and enjoys being immersed in an engaged and social setting will feel right at home. Their daughter will be under one year old at the start of the role and is happy, playful, and on the brink of becoming fully mobile, so a highly attentive, engaging, and safety-conscious caregiver is essential. The schedule will fall across weekdays and weekends (which are especially important), totaling full-time hours, with the understanding that the nanny will have a couple of days off during the week. Flexibility is appreciated for occasional shifts to accommodate the family’s needs, though their lifestyle is largely relaxed and home-centered. The primary focus of the role is to provide nurturing, hands-on care while also offering the parents meaningful support and reprieve, allowing them time to recharge, work intermittently from home, or simply enjoy moments of rest. Additional responsibilities include child-related tasks, light household support, simple cooking, errands, and occasional help with their beloved Jack Russell terrier. The family is seeking someone who is bright-eyed, positive, free-spirited, and intuitive; someone who can seamlessly step in as a collaborative partner without being overly directive, respecting the parents’ preferences while creating a safe, playful, and enriching environment for their daughter to explore and grow. Compensation is $30–$40/hour+ on payroll, DOE, and the family is open to assisting with relocation for the right candidate.
