Description Summer Program Team Lead Schedule: Part-Time, Seasonal Pay: $17.20 Seasonal Schedule: Week 1: Mandatory orientation June 29-July 1, 2026. Week 2-week 7: Summer Program (Monday-Thursday) July 6 – August 13, 2026. 8:15a-2:45pm or as scheduled. The Team Leader is responsible for providing oversight & direction to counselors and campers within their assigned age group, program activities & documentation for ACHIEVE Summer Program. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervise & mentor 15-20 counselors. Conduct weekly team meetings with counselors. Provide training, direction & oversight of counselors/classrooms. Ensure counselors and campers are attending scheduled activities. Complete performance evaluations on each counselor. In conjunction with program counselors, supervise and mentor 45-55 campers with functional differences. Ensure that counselors are completing program documentation in a timely & accurate manner. Complete incident/accident reports on students/counselors as required. Responsible for complying with all Part 635, Part 671, Part 624 and Part 633 regulations in total, and reporting violations, deficiencies, and/or incidents to direct supervisor as they are discovered or indicated. Assist with coordination and supervision on field trips & special activities. Awareness and appropriate utilization of behavior management plans. Serve as primary contact for communication with parents to inquire about any unreported absences or report incidents & problems. Assist with handling of camper behaviors. Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements Working towards a bachelor’s degree in human services, recreation, or related field with 1-2 years’ experience with individuals that have functional differences. Must have GED / H.S. Diploma A valid driver’s license and good driving record acceptable to the Agency’s insurance carrier.
