We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Seasonal Groundskeeper to assist with lawn care, landscaping, and general exterior maintenance throughout the summer season. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical, hands-on work and take pride in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. Essential Responsibilities Maintain lawns, landscaping, and exterior grounds Mow lawns and operate riding mower Trim weeds, shrubs, and plants using weed eaters and trimmers Pull weeds and assist with landscaping upkeep Sweep exterior walkways Remove trash and debris from grounds Maintain and care for lawn and maintenance equipment Report needed repairs and maintenance concerns Assist with additional maintenance or grounds duties as assigned Position Detail This is a flexible part-time position with the ability to work approximately 15 hours/week Pay $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Part-Time Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) No Holidays Free YMCA Individual Membership Discounts Child Care and YMCA Programs Mental Health Benefits – including free mental health sessions Professional Development Work-Life Balance Requirements Minimum age: 16 years old Must demonstrate good moral character and dependability Ability to read and follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines Ability to report and document maintenance needs Basic knowledge of lawn equipment operation and care Understanding of cleaning methods, tools, and equipment preferred Physical Requirements and Work Environment This position requires outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions and involves physical labor throughout the workday.
