Description Blue Ribbon Products Co., is an 85 year old family owned and operated beer distributorship located in Joliet, IL. Looking for a fun and fast-paced summer & spring break job outside of the office? We are hiring for Summer Delivery Helpers! Our Summer Helpers assist our delivery team in delivering our award winning products to retail stores. This is a local summer delivery position without weekend work. Schedule is Monday - Friday with varying start and end times. You will work over 35 hours per week. Starting rate is $18/hour. Responsibilities Retail deliveries that require physically demanding work loading and unloading on a repetitive basis kegs weighing up to 180lbs and and cases of beer weighing 35lbs or more. Heavy handcart work will be required to deliver products to our customers. Build strong relationships with customers by delivering products in a timely and efficient manner, building displays, filling customer shelves and rotating product as necessary to ensure freshness Assist with loading and unloading truck at the warehouse Requirements Must be 18 years old Clean driving record with current and valid driver's license. Ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency Strong communication skills and prior experience working with the public Ability to lift 165 pounds regularly
