Mohawk Council of Akwesasne – 2026 Summer Student Placement Opportunities The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is now accepting applications for 2026 Summer Student Placements. These positions provide students with meaningful work experience, professional development, and the opportunity to contribute to programs and services that support the Akwesasne community. Position: Summer Student Placement Location: Akwesasne, ON or QC Duration: Summer 2026 (specific dates may vary by department) Hours: Full-time, Part-Time or temporary positions Key Responsibilities: * Assist with day-to-day operations and program support within assigned departments * Support projects and initiatives aligned with community priorities * Participate in professional development and training opportunities * Other duties as assigned Eligibility: * Must be a student returning to high school or post-secondary studies in the fall of 2026 * Must provide proof of status (copy of Status Card) Application Requirements: Interested candidates must submit the following: * Completed Summer Student Application (attached)  * Resume * Cover letter * Copy of a valid Status Card Application Deadlines: * Post-Secondary Students: Friday, April 17th, 2026 at 4:00 PM * High School Students: Friday, May 29th, 2026 at 4:00 PM How to Apply: Applications may be submitted via the online application portal.
