  Summer Program: July 6 – August 14 2026 JOB SUMMARY The Therapeutic Aide has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and will support the Therapeutic After School Program/Summer Therapeutic Activities Program on our Main Campus building in Souderton, as well as within the community setting. The Therapeutic Aide will work with children and adolescents to implement behavioral interventions, transfer social skills to the community setting, and maintain accurate documentation and data collection. Under supervision, you will work with children in groups utilizing an evidence-based curriculum that addresses individual goals and outcomes. The ideal candidate is an energetic individual who enjoys working with children, has excellent communication skills, is flexible, and has a positive attitude.   BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training High School Diploma. Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in a related field (social work, psychology, special education, etc.) or 60 credits toward degree is preferred.   Experience One (1) year of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred.   Basic Skills * Strong writing skills * Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills * Ability to use critical thinking skills during challenging situations * Ability to implement interventions using behavior plan designed by lead clinician * Valid driver’s license with a clear three-year driving record preferred but not required   Physical Requirements * Ability to perform the physical duties required * Must have adequate mobility that requires frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching * Satisfactory completion of post-offer pre-employment physical exam and drug test as required   Equipment/Machine Operations Must maintain skills necessary to safely and efficiently operate the following equipment and machines used in the performance of this job: * Computer (must be proficient in the use of email and Microsoft Word and Excel) * Office equipment – including printer, scanner, fax machine, copier, etc. * Time Clock system * Vehicles * Various other equipment and supplies   ESSENTIAL DUTIES * Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to implement CASSP principles, such as individual centered services, collaborative approaches, and culturally competent service delivery * Work all authorized hours in accordance with the classroom schedule * Assist with group facilitation * Collaborate with treatment team members in the development of goals and interventions * Provide accurate, clear documentation on progress notes for each session in a timely manner, completing all documentation to ensure compliance with all regulations and agency policies * Complete data collection at each session to assist in determining levels of progress * Participate in monthly team individual supervision and group supervision meetings * Maintain communication with treatment team to report obstacles, progress and/or concerns about treatment * Monitor adequate staff to child ratio in room   Other Duties * Assist with various administrative tasks to support department operations as directed; may also be assigned special projects * Attend trainings required by program/department. * Maintain current training certifications as needed for programs.   STANDARD REQUIREMENTS * Completion and clearance of a criminal background check and a child abuse clearance * Supports the Mission and values of Indian Creek Foundation and the program * Ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all individuals served in a safe, secure environment * Supports, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs for: * Safety, including universal precautions and safe work practices, as well as established fire/safety plans * Confidentiality of all data, including individuals served, employee, and operations data * Compliance with all regulatory requirements and agency policies as required by Human Resources, licensing, and funding agencies * Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with HIPAA standards * Conducts oneself in a professional manner when representing Indian Creek Foundation * Functions as a member of the Team: * Cooperates and works together with all co-workers, plans and complete job duties with minimal direct supervision and appropriate judgment * Uses tactful and appropriate communications in all situations * Reports and follows up regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns with appropriate personnel * Promotes positive public relations with individuals served, family members, other team members, and community * Completes requirements for training, acceptable attendance, dress codes including personal hygiene and other work duties as assigned * Exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Conduct in performance of their duties.   Job Location Cowpath Road – Main campus
