SUMMER TRAINEE, AUTOMATION DEVELOPER

Enterprise Automation team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder, CoPilot studio including other Microsoft suite of products to enable Citizen development and professional development that realizing the operations performance targets and enabling uninterrupted business operations.
Our mission is to empower businesses to streamline their processes, increase operational efficiency, and drive growth through cutting-edge Low-Code Automation and data-driven solutions.
You will be part of Digital Enabling Platforms team in Espoo Finland.
We are looking for a student, ideally in the final stages of their studies, to join us for a period of 3-4 months between May and September 2025.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement custom solutions using Power platform and the tools it contains ( eg.Power App, Power Automate, CoPilot studio, Dataverse, AI Builder etc)
• Automate workflows and business processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
• Automate business processes and workflows using Microsoft Power Automate..
• Assisting in collecting and identifying functional requirements.
• Contribute across all phases of the software development life cycle
• Azure Integration – Leverage Azure services and serverless solutions to extend power platform capabilities
• Adept at crafting Power Apps and Power Platform solutions with the ability to impart your knowledge to both pro-developers and citizen developers.
• Develop automation use cases using Powershell scripting
• Creating reports and dashboards using Power BI

IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU PREFERABLY HAVE:

• Understanding on low-code/no-code platforms and any application built with power platform tools is an added advantage
• Have basic development experience on Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Knowledge of additional programming languages like Python, C# and knowledge over .NET framework or Powershell is an advantage
• Deeply interested in automation solution technology, have interested in understanding how technology can help KONE business in productivity gain and efficiency improvement
